DNV Accreditation

Northeast Georgia Medical Center is fully accredited by DNV Healthcare, which is the first new federally approved accreditation option for hospitals in several decades.  It is a complete redesign of accreditation standards that offers NGMC the opportunity to simultaneously satisfy its Medicare compliance requirements for reimbursement and implement the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.  ISO 9001 is recognized by businesses around the world as the benchmark for continual quality improvement.

100 Top Hospitals

Northeast Georgia Medical Center is one of the top 100 hospitals in the nation, according to a study by Thomson Reuters. NGMC also received the 100 Top Hospitals®: Everest Award, which was awarded to only 23 hospitals demonstrating top performance and accelerated improvement according to the study. Metro Atlanta's Top 100 Workplaces

Northeast Georgia Health System is one of "Metro Atlanta’s Top 100 Workplaces" for 2011 according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.  More than 495 companies were nominated, and Workplace Dynamics surveyed more than 40,000 employees from the finalist companies.  Click here to learn more about the Top 100 Workplaces award. 

Best Places to Work in Georgia

Consumer Choice Award
